Cheese Corn Paratha Recipes

Cheese corn paratha is a delicious and nutritious Indian flatbread stuffed with cheese and corn. Here are the ingredients you need to make cheese corn paratha:

For the Dough:

  • Whole Wheat Flour: 2 cups
  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Oil or Ghee: 1 tablespoon
  • Water: As needed to knead the dough

For the Filling:

  • Corn: 1 cup (boiled)
  • Cheese: 1 cup (grated; you can use any melting cheese like mozzarella, cheddar, or a mix)
  • Salt: To taste
  • Red Chili Flakes: 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
  • Oregano: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black Paper Powder: 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
  • Cheese: 1 cup (grated; you can use any melting cheese like mozzarella, cheddar, or a mix)

  • Red Chili Flakes: 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
  • Oregano: 1/2 teaspoo
  • Black Paper Powder: 1/4 teaspoon (optional)

For Cooking:

  • Oil or Ghee: For cooking the parathas

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Dough:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and salt.
  • Add the oil or ghee and mix well.
  • Gradually add water and knead to form a soft and smooth dough.

2. Prepare the Filling:

  • In a bowl, combine the boiled corn, grated cheese, salt, red chili flakes, black paper powder, and oregano.
  • Mix well to combine all the ingredients evenly.

3. Assemble the Parathas:

  • Divide the dough into equal-sized balls.
  • Take one dough ball and roll it out into a small circle.
  • Place a generous amount of the cheese and corn filling in the center
  • Bring the edges of the dough together to seal the filling inside, forming a ball again.
  • Gently flatten the stuffed dough ball and roll it out into a flat paratha, being careful not to let the filling spill out.

4. Cook the Parathas:

• Heat a tawa or griddle over medium heat. • Place the rolled paratha on the hot tawa. • Cook for a minute or until you see bubbles forming on the surface. • Flip the paratha and apply some oil or ghee on the cooked side. • Flip again and apply oil or ghee on the other side. • Cook until both sides are golden brown and crispy. • Repeat with the remaining dough balls and filling.

5. Serve:
